Our tailored campaign amplified the transformative influence of Medtronic's digital and robotics products on the lives of surgeons, hospitals, and patients. This came in the context of a public health crisis, as surgery waiting times faced historic pressure with post-pandemic waiting lists at an all time high. 

Our strategy, for America's leading MedTech company, championed the power of storytelling in a highly technical space, making Medtronic's narrative resonate with a wider audience. 

APPROACH

We conducted in-depth stakeholder interviews, comprehensive competitor benchmarking, and media audits, setting the stage for Medtronic to engage in critical industry conversations.

We framed a human-centered narrative that showcased how Medtronic's marriage of data, AI, and robotics could drive innovation in the OR and broaden access to quality healthcare.

Woodrow wins Best Campaign at the EMEA SABRE Awards

Proud to share that Woodrow won Best Campaign (Association category) at the EMEA SABRE Awards for our work with the CLA. This was a campaign to make rural Britain unignorable — and it did. From FOIs that revealed forces tackling rural crime without torches, to polling that shifted party leaders’ priorities — and taking on Treasury figures that downplayed how inheritance tax would hit farmers — we built a media strategy that changed the conversation. 70,000 farms affected, it turns out. Not 500.

Woodrow expands in US, hires former Ogilvy PR boss Stuart Smith

NEW YORK: U.K.-based PR and comms consultancy Woodrow has hired former Ogilvy PR boss Stuart Smith as it looks to grow its business in the U.S. and offer greater support to clients here. Smith joined the firm at the start of the year in the newly created role of executive board adviser. He is responsible for market development, new business development and finding talent. Woodrow staff members do not report to Smith. Charlie Tarr, founder and CEO of Woodrow, said not being in the New York market “didn’t make any sense for us, and, frankly, our clients were asking for it.”
