Over two consecutive years, Woodrow Africa partnered with AGRA to manage communications and event delivery for the Africa Food Systems Forum, the continent’s most influential platform on food security and agricultural transformation.
From Kigali in 2024 to Dakar in 2025, our team delivered an integrated communications and events campaign that brought together leaders from government, business, and development to shape Africa’s food future.
Through media strategy, digital storytelling, and coordination across regions, Woodrow helped the Forum evolve into a movement that inspired policy action and positioned African leadership at the centre of global discussions.

AGRA, the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, is the continent’s largest non-profit focused on food security and food systems transformation.
Supported by partners such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the UN’s IFAD, AGRA works with governments and the private sector to build a resilient and sustainable future for African agriculture.
The challenge
The Forum aimed to move from being a convening platform to becoming the main stage for policy commitments, cross-sector collaboration, and international visibility.
Woodrow was tasked with delivering a campaign that reached diverse audiences, aligned over 30 partners with different priorities, and demonstrated Africa’s leadership in addressing one of the world’s most urgent challenges.

Managed all event logistics, programme flow, and protocol across 4,900+ delegates from 97 countries, including heads of state, ministers, and global agency leaders.
Aligned communications for 30+ partners (from USAID to the Rockefeller Foundation) ensuring unified messaging and brand consistency across all platforms.

Led global and Pan-African media engagement, securing coverage in 240+ outlets across Africa and beyond.
