Olusegun Okubanjo
Olusegun brings more than two decades in wealth management and investment banking.
He previously served as Executive Director, Africa at UBS in London. His career began at ARM Investment Managers in Lagos, before he went on to lead the West Africa offshore private client divisions at Standard Bank and Renaissance Capital, and to head a West Africa-focused team at Barclays Wealth in London.
On the Woodrow Influence Council, Olusegun offers something rare: a practitioner’s read on where capital, credibility and reputation intersect across African markets. He understands how financial services institutions, sovereign actors and high-growth entrepreneurs actually build trust with the capital that backs them. His insight sharpens our counsel for clients navigating cross-border capital markets, fundraising narratives, and the reputational stakes that come with operating at the frontier of African finance.
