Stuart Neil

Stuart Neil was recently Director of Strategy and Communications for the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), where he led the London-based Secretariat’s communications and supports the Secretary General and Board in delivering the organisation’s strategic agenda, acting as spokesperson, strategic counsel and architect of how ICS makes its case to a vast range of global stakeholders. He began his career in the British Foreign Service before advising governments and international companies on communications, and spent nine years as a Press Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II before moving into the energy sector. He has also served a Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, and was appointed a Member of the Royal Victorian Order in 2009 in recognition of his service to the Crown.

Stuart offers our clients high-stakes institutional communications advice, earned at the very top of government, monarchy and global industry. He understands how trust is built and protected when the audience is the whole world and the margin for error is nil. His perspective sharpens our counsel for institutional, sovereign, maritime and industrial clients who must speak with authority on the global stage.
