Zoom has appointed Woodrow to lead its UK/I communications, following a competitive process.
Zoom is one of the most recognised names in technology. What began as a tool that kept the world connected via video has become an AI-enabled platform for how modern organisations get work done. Our role in the UK is to shape that next chapter, moving the conversation beyond video and establishing Zoom as a genuine leader in the future of work.
We’ll lead Zoom’s UK/I Product and Corporate Communications brief, which covers press office, executive profiling and creative campaigning, working alongside Zoom’s in-house team and wider EMEA network. As audiences increasingly rely on AI-generated search to understand brands, a central part of the job is balancing Zoom’s digital influence alongside traditional media relations. Sophie Woollands, our Head of Campaigning and Influence, leads the account.
Charlie Tarr, our founder and chief executive, said: “Zoom is one of the most recognisable brands in the world, with a bigger and more interesting story to tell than most people realise. It was a rigorous process, and what stood out was how clearly their team knew what they wanted from a UK partner. We’re proud they’ve chosen us, and we can’t wait to get going.”
The win caps a fast-moving year. We were named Africa Agency of the Year 2026 and ranked in PRWeek’s Top 150 Agencies 2026, and we’ve drawn a steady run of senior talent from the big networks, including hires from FleishmanHillard, Weber Shandwick and Ogilvy, across our offices in London, New York and Nairobi.
Last month we launched The Influence Economy, a new annual report that unpicks who really moves public opinion now, and why. It’s a data-first analysis of how perceived credibility ranks against the influence that actually shapes opinion and behaviour, showing organisations where influence now sits and how they can build theirs as the landscape keeps shifting. You can download the full report here.
